I’m Firas Kafri, co-founder of Salalem.
Most of my time is spent across the product, technology, and operations of Salalem, an AI-powered learning platform for organizations.
I’m particularly interested in what happens after the demo: how a system is operated, constrained, explained, and improved.
Salalem and other projects
Alongside Salalem, my work includes Flocki, an attendance and leave-management product, and HELM, a human-first operating model for product teams building with AI agents.
My playground is where I test ideas in public. Progressive Clarity explores how AI responses can stay focused without losing orientation. FinSpec turns relationships across financial markets into an interactive explanatory model.
Before Salalem
I co-founded JoGeeks and UpSpark, and founded and led Google Developers Group Amman. Those chapters shaped my interest in products, communities, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Selected publication
In 2017, I co-authored Crawl, Walk, Run, and Only Then Compete with Marwan Soudi. The report presents a framework for building innovative entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging economies.
